Exhibition Entertainment - KubeCrawl

Arranging entertainment for almost 35,000 m2 of exhibition space is no small task. It is a challenge that we gladly accepted for The Linux Foundation during KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2023.
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s conference gathers users and technologists from leading open source and cloud native communities in their annual event: KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2023. To stimulate solidarity and networking, the KubeCrawl + CloudNativeFest was organized on one evening of the conference. In Amsterdam (2023), we were allowed to provide the entertainment for this.

Vision

This organization was looking for a playful concept to transform a pub crawl into KubeCrawl. The key to a successful pub crawl: games, multiple stops and fun. Fortunately for us, the client already knew exactly what they wanted, and we only had to give substance to it. For the international audience, we have provided a diverse range of entertainment from music, a Lego workshop and caricaturists to old Dutch games, a pub quiz and XL Pacman (for the nostalgic nerd that lurks in each of us) and much more. ENTHUSIASM

With our extensive database of musicians and artists, we were sure we could find the right acts for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europ 2023. But hyping people up for an activity in the middle of a trade show floor is very different from at a party or festival where people are already on a stand of ‘fun’. Leave it to our artists to pull all visitors out of their shells and take them into the experience.
